This is my third course I am taking with institute of birth healing so that I can continue to improve and repeat palpation and manual skills and to learn to “feel and listen” to the tissue under my palms.
Thank you Lynn for all your hard work, I am excited to dive into this course.
I am looking into getting the foam topper for my table, but also trying to figure out how best to have my setup for other clients, specifically those I’m working with and doing internal rectal treatments. For those patients I’ll often have them lying prone and in the past have just taken out the face hole at the top of the table so they don’t have to turn their head one way or the other. With the foam pad on the table I won’t have this option. Do you have a specific setup for when you do have patients prone on your table? I may have an attachment that goes on the end of the table for their face, but I’m thinking the extra height from the foam pad may make it not comfortable. Any tips are appreciated!
The foam will be higher for the face cradle but check it out and see if it’s not too uncomfortable. I just have my clients put their forehead on their forearms for the time they are prone.
