    Hi Lynn,
Thank you so much for these beautiful courses! I have taken a handful of them already and have a question. I am new to the pelvic floor world and you have so many manual therapy techniques. My background is more in exercise therapy so this is quite foreign to me. Are you checking all of these things and going through all of these releases on your postpartum mamas or do you just check ones that you feel may be restricted? If you are checking them all – about how many visits does it take to go through and are you also doing exercise therapy with them? I’m curious what a typical session with you looks like.
    Thank you!!
    Cassie

Cassie, I am opposite of you, I do mainly manual therapy in my sessions so on average, 30 mins is done doing the manual with 15 mins internal and then 15 mins to work on core activation. I’m able to get a LOT done in one session. I wouldn’t except you to do the same. What I find is when you release the pelvis from these patterns from birth and do the internal protocol you’ll find the pfm’s are able to contract so much easier and better that then you clients can do the core exercises you want them to do. My theory is if I just give people exercises to strengthen their pfm’s, only the fibers that can activate will maybe get stronger but not the ones that can’t activate. When you do the internal protocol you should find that the pfm’s activate so much stronger and it’s easier for your clients to engage their core. It’s incredible. If you are not getting these kind of results, please come take a LIVE course with me if you can. Thanks for taking my courses!!
