Hi Lynn, could these releases have any effect on hydronephrosis during pregnancy? I have someone inquiring if I can help her and I’ve honestly never seen anyone with hydronephrosis, but I wonder if these releases would affect baby’s positioning enough to reduce her symptoms?
It depends on what is causing the hydronephrosis. If the uterus is so restricted posteriorly that it is the cause of the compression on the renal system then maybe releasing the uterine ligaments might help. Sometimes the problem is inside the renal system and that is not much we can do to help that.
