So even if you have a table with the belly cut out you do not treat in prone? No Mobilization in prone, but yes to fascial work?

    1. Lynn Schulte says:

That is what I have to teach. Yes to fascial work but no direct pressures down on the pelvis with the pregnant belly. I can’t determine if your table is taking that pressure off of the belly or not. That is for you to decide.

Thank you so much for this great wisdom!! Can you please explain again the the anatomy of what happens with an incompetent cervix complication from prone pressures on the pelvis? I have a hard time visualizing this. I am trying to conceptualize how hands and knees does NOT interfere with the cervix pressures in this way. Thank you! I imagine treat the bones first in hands and knees, and then if fascial work is needed proceed to prone belly cut out if desired.

    1. Lynn Schulte says:

I just don’t want the uterus to be compressed on the front (laying prone) and the back with PA pressure on the sacrum if we don’t know about the competency of the cervix. Hands and knees doesn’t put pressure on the belly from the front.
