On this one, are the finger tips in contact with the pubic bone whilst the rest of the fingers and hands are in contact with abdomen (diagonally up to the ASIS)?
Yes, exactly. The fingertips are slightly contacting the pubic bone if baby’s head is not in the way. If it is you are bringing them up as close to the pubic bone as the baby’s head allows. I actually prefer the inversion technique using an ironing board better for this than the inversion. I’ll discuss this in class.
