  1. Linda Schneider says:

What would you typically treat first? Uterus or round ligament?

    1. Lynn Schulte says:

You assess the uterine mobility and see which structures are tight and decide which ligament to treat first. You don’t treat the uterus directly, you treat the ligaments to treat the uterus.

  2. Shannon Flint says:

My understanding is that the round ligament is traveling forward and laterally within the broad ligament to the pelvic sidewall. It passes through the deep inguinal ring, traverses the inguinal canal, and terminates by blending into the connective tissue of the labia majora. I feel like you would need to be more lateral vs right over the pubic bone that you are demonstrating. You mention it piercing through the abdominal wall. Are you trying to get at it as it exits the superficial inguinal ring?

    1. Lynn Schulte says:

Shannon, the round ligament comes out of the inguinal ligament somewhere near the pubic bone. I will sometimes place my three fingers right next to the lateral edge of the pubic bone and have my other hand on the round ligament in the labia tissue and then pull with my other hand and see which one I feel under my labia fingers, then I know where it is coming out. I hope this makes sense and I will be redoing this video in my next update happening this year. A live course will give you time to practice and get this down. Thanks.
