How do you talk to patients about what you’re doing when you’re assessing energy flow? I can see some folks being in to it and some folks being skeptical.
I just say I’m assessing your body in standing to see what it does in gravity. Sometimes, depending on the person, I will say this side feels more stuck or this side is flowing more than the other side but a lot of time I don’t say anything at all. If they question it I talk about how I’m feeling the flow of energy like accupuncturists are trying to move with their needles. Hopefully that appeases them.
