  1. LAUREN BOST says:

Any tips for finding the uterus or the bladder on a larger woman?

    1. Lynn Schulte says:

Yes! Intend to the organ and call it up into your hands. Keep your fingers relaxed, find the pubic bone for the bladder and sink your fingers in but use your intention to connect with the bladder. Same for uterus, the organ is still there it’s just got extra tissue on top of it. It may take more time to sink down to the organ or call it up into your hands. Give it a try and see what you find.

  2. Stephanie Smith says:

My midwife told me that I have a retroverted uterus. Would this change the way the uterus might feel/direction of manipulation when working with a client who has a retroverted uterus?

    1. Lynn Schulte says:

Yes, when sinking down into the tissues to find the fundus it will feel like you are almost at the vertebra its really deep. You are actually reach just above the cervix as it is bent backwards, you won’t be on the fundus with retroversion.
