Erika, I like to see what they do initially and then use your intuition, but different vocalizations, high/low tones, it’s a tough one when someone doesn’t get it. I find in tall kneeling is easiest position for people to get it or hands and knees so don’t waste too much time in supine trying different cues cause it could be positional. Also having them tough their sphincter area helps them to connect to that lengthening which can be super helpful!!

If you teach clients to practice pushing out with open glottis multiple times before birth can it increase the risk of prolapse or hemorrhoids?
They aren’t doing it full force so it shouldn’t. You just want them to learn how to lengthen their muscles.
