does this work even if there is significant scarring after a c-section? And how long after a c-section can we do this, can it prevent some of the scarring?
    Thank you!

    1. Lynn Schulte says:

The mobilizations don’t stop the scarring from occuring but it does help create more mobility in the scar tissue itself. We aren’t getting rid of it but just creating more mobility in the tissues and that is what is so important for our clients. We can do scar tissue massage at any stage of the healing even decades later. Some people create more scar tissue than others and these are the ones that we want to make sure are getting these structures mobilized to avoid issues down the road. Some scar tissue doesn’t create problems until 10-15 years later and by then no one is considering the C/S scar tissue as the culprit. It’s never too late to mobilize scar tissue.
