For the quiz, #4 says for the bilateral psoas technique, you’re supposed to spread your hand as wide as you can but also to have the client adduct their legs by bringing the feet together, but in the video, her feet are apart? Can you please clarify?

    1. Lynn Schulte says:

You need to be able to get your hand down between the legs so your client may need to separate their legs to allow your hand in. Once it gets down in place then you want them to bring their legs as close together as is comfortable to them. You will not have their legs together but you need them close as possible so when you spread your hand wide you are as close to connecting with the lesser trochanter as possible. Hope this helps.
