Ripple Effect on Pelvic Health

Ripple Effect On Pelvic Health

One year after launching the Birth Healing Movement, I have received so many messages about the ripple effect that the education at IBH is having on pelvic health. Practitioners who have studied with me are saying they are excited about their work (again), they are getting results where treatment had previously plateaued, and they are seeing a positive impact on their client’s overall health and well-being. We are making a difference, and I just wanted to update you on what we are creating together!

The Ripple of the Birth Healing Movement

I kicked off the Birth Healing Movement in the summer of 2023 after an incredible response to my post and outreach to help clients fully heal after birth. I continue this mission every day as I know that together we will revolutionize postpartum care! I see a future where our postpartum clients get the care needed that not only improves clinical outcomes, but helps them begin their journey as a new parent in a strong, healed and supported way.

When new parents are supported, then the care they receive ripples out to families and communities. I believe that through this work we can achieve the small (;0) goal of creating a worldwide ripple to help humanity thrive.

THANK YOU to all the practitioners who have joined me in the Birth Healing Movement! We have had over 2,250+ people join the Institute for Birth Healing since kicking off this movement. We have also had over 3,450 course sign ups meaning the education I know will change your practice and is getting out there. The ripple is being felt and so are the results!

Achieving A “Small” Goal

I love this work because it is so much fun largely because it WORKS! As I have shared, the techniques I use in the clinic and now teach in my courses give me incredible results with my clients. While I am always amazed by these results, I am so happy to hear my students are getting their clients better quickly, too, as the ripple extends.

With Education That Works

On the Monday after a live course, a student told me that she tried some of the techniques she had just learned that weekend on a client she had been seeing for awhile. Her client had low back pain and had plateaued with the treatment she had been providing. After using the techniques she learned in the live course, she said that her client got up and said she felt more stable in her pelvis and had less pain!

Another student reached out to say that all of the patients who were plateauing before attending the live course were all feeling so much better after applying the techniques.

Andrea H., Doctor of Chiropractic shared, “Just have to say, I have used techniques from class on almost every patient this week. I think this is the most applicable continuing education workshop I have ever attended. Thank you for putting together powerful information in a very usable format and for being a wonderful instructor!”

I also love watching my student’s faces when they are learning these techniques and they feel the release that happens. The surprise on several of my students faces as they feel the techniques work in the live courses is priceless for me. I LOVE sharing this work with others!

With Results That Matter

A student from one of my online courses wrote, “Today, I used these (techniques) on a client. When she left she said ‘I feel like the work you did on my hips today is work I have needed my whole life’. I thank you for these online courses, amazing work is being done!”

I LOVE hearing about how this work is transformative for both practitioners and their clients.

A student from the Holistic Treatment of the Postpartum Body course said, “Loved this course, it’s going to help a lot of my mama’s in PFPT, already applied it to one that had significant pain relief after their first visit.”

Significant pain relief in one session. I get this same result all the time and so are my students who apply the techniques learned in my Postpartum courses.

Katie H., a Physical Therapist, shared her successes after completing the Treating the Postpartum Pelvis, “Some of my success stories since taking this course:

  1. A patient with sciatica who I had not been successful in treating before, has had almost full resolution of sciatica after treating her common postpartum pelvic pattern.
  2. Two patients I have treated for posterior sacrums – one had resolution of her bil. PSIS pain. Both felt like their pelvis was not as wide and they had sits bones under them again.
  3. One patient who had perineal pain in sitting (16 weeks post op pelvic reconstruction) that was resolving slowly with other treatment, had full resolution after correcting common PPP pattern + sacral flexion pattern.

Thanks Lynn Schulte, this is great stuff!”

With Confidence and Passion

I remember when I worked with my first pregnant clients years ago. I felt unsure of what to do or how to help these clients. I have since figured out a lot of ways to work with and better prepare pregnant clients for birth, and I am grateful to be able to share in a way that is helping students build their confidence and find joy in working with pregnant clients as well.

Jody H., a Physical Therapist wrote: “This (Holistic Treatment of the Pregnant Body) helped me increase my confidence and knowledge when working with pregnant women. I felt like I was coming up short or unsure prior to taking this course and now I feel I have more to offer each pregnant patient that comes to me.”

I never get tired of hearing how this work is transforming therapist’s success in the clinic no matter how long they have been practicing.

Melissa R., a Physical Therapist said, “I have practiced PT for 30 years and have never had the results I have been experiencing since I started taking the courses offered at Institute of Birth Healing. Not only are the results astounding but they can also be immediate. I have never felt so confident and excited about treating new patients!!”

I’m so glad therapists are finding joy again in their practice. The body is magical and this work just helps to bring that magic out.

Continuing to Extend the Ripple

Thanks for letting me share! I LOVE this work and hearing from you all about what you are discovering. I will continue to put my energy and passion into the Birth Healing Movement as I know that the shifts we are creating together are causing a larger ripple that is being felt worldwide. Keep up the beautiful work!
