Hi Lynn, I am loving the course so far – it is really helpful! I have a question regarding closing the pelvic bones… When is the best time to start doing this exercise? Right after birth? Thank you very much in advance!
Best regards,
Vessy
The rebozo just gets the iliums and not the ischiums to come together because the femur bones are in the way. The ischial bones need help approximating too so either using the adductor/abductor muscles can do so or our hands.
I say once a day for a week and see how they feel. If it’s immediately after birth and there isn’t any trauma in the body it may just need to be done once but doing it more won’t hurt anything. There really isn’t a set number that is ideal that I know of.

Yes, right after birth is perfect. It could be day of birth too. Thanks for your question and taking this course.
Would doing a rebozo closing be similar?

how often should this be done as you mention it is something the clients can do at home? is it once a day for a week, or other?
