BE THE GO-TO EXPERT FOR MOMS FOR RECOVERY AFTER BIRTH
In this course, you will learn all about the patterns found in the body after birth and how to release those patterns so moms’ bodies can function better afterward. By taking this course you will learn a TON of techniques to help close up the pelvic bones after birth, get the pelvic floor muscles activating better, get the organs back into their proper place so the core can function better and help moms heal from the myriad of issues pregnancy and birth can do to their bodies. You’ll also learn a whole new way of approaching the body with your treatments. The best thing about this course is you can use these techniques on any of your clients with great results.
THE COURSE WORK
As we start off this course we teach you a powerful grounding meditation and ways to help prepare yourself and your treatment room to better implement this body of work. This module also shares with you Lynn’s treatment philosophy and palpation rules that are so important for optimal results with your clients.
MODULE: THE PELVIS
Learn what the pelvic bones go through for birth and the common patterns the pelvis can get stuck in afterward. This module is full of pelvic mobilization techniques, that you can use on any of your clients, especially your moms stuck in the open birthing pattern.
MODULE: THE ABDOMEN
Learn the techniques to mobilize the belly and the organs affected by pregnancy and birth. We cover techniques to help with healing of diastasis recti, cesarean scar tissue, the uterus post-birth and the psoas muscles without digging down through the abdomen.
MODULE: THE PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLES
Learn the Schulte Protocol for intravaginal work that internally releases the pelvic organs so they align anatomically allowing the pelvic floor muscles to fully function. You will learn easy and effective techniques to release the pelvic floor muscles, the anal sphincter complex, and treat the coccyx.
MODULE: CORE ACTIVATION
Learn the effects of pregnancy on the abdominal and core musculature and the problems they cause for postnatal clients. In this module you will be introduced to poor core activation and techniques to properly activate the core muscles for full function.
MODULE: LISTENING TECHNIQUES
This module will teach you to “feel” into the body and listen to its energy. You will learn how to tune into the energy flow in the body and feel the tissues to guide your treatment approach. Together, you will learn how to access your intuition to guide your treatment.
MODULE: THE THORACIC REGION
You will learn the effects pregnancy has on the thoracic region and techniques to facilitate release and balance in these tissues. Additionally, you will learn a new way of treating restricted mobility in the thoracic spine and ribcage to release stuck inhalation patterns.
MODULE: PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER
This module will help you distill and integrate all of the techniques covered in this course. You will learn how to implement a new treatment approach into your practice so you can successfully treat your postpartum clients.
